New Milani Metallic Baked EyeShadows!

So I was just on my way home from work when I had to drop by my local CVS for something I needed and I came across these GORGEOUS beauties by Milani.  Now, I'm not a huge Milani follower, so I didn't know that they were set to release these eyeshadows recently, however just seeing them in their display made me go ahead and get three of the ones that stood out to me the most.

Let me just start off by saying that Blue My Mind looks like Royal Blue just turned into a velvet fabric.  That's how gorgeous the texture of this eyeshadows is.  In fact the other two that I got as well, which are:  Purrr-fect Purple & Teal The Truth.  Ugh, I can't get over how gorgeous these colors are!

All of these colors were super pigmented and the application wasnt too messy as usual baked eyeshadows tend to be.  I also liked the ways the colors blended out evenly.  All in all, a really good formula by Milani. 

I wasnt too interested in the other colors but we'll see if that changes.  However, these colors were a must show!  These are all from the Metallics part of Milani's newest collection.  Try your nearest CVS for these beauties!  =)  Hope you guys enjoy!

Giipsy

Quick Introduction

So hey, my name is, Maria although a lot of my friends call me Giipsy.  Actually probably not, a good majority of them call me Maria.  But anyway, this is a blog I've decided to start because I have quite a few obsessions when it comes to make up.  In fact, monthly, I go through phases of an item that I'll become quite addicted to.  Like for example, during November it was getting a couple of the eyeshadows from MAC's new Tartan collection (and this wasn't even a big deal just because they didn't have that amazing colors in this collection) and discovering LUSH.  The month before was BRUCCI nail polishes and so and so forth...

So far, going into December, I've already gotten addicted to lip liners.  I don't know why, but they're suddenly very appealing to me where as before I'd normally just ignore them and stick with the random two that somehow ended up in my make up stash.  This is also going to be a very odd phase considering how I don't have that many lipsticks (for some reason I never went through the lipstick phase) but we'll see how this turns out in either case.

Also going forward, I've been noticing that there's a definite interest in reds & deep rose pinks going on.  I don't know if this is because Christmas is right around the bend, but I'm hoping this turns out just be a holidays phase.  Although I do congratulate myself for finally being bold enough to wear those colors on my lips (in public nonetheless!)

Anyway,   there's not much else to say.  This will honestly just be a review blog along with a few tutorials on looks and my discoveries along the way.
